Excellent streaming over Type C USB/HDMI!

Made the trip that much more bearable! An absolute buy!

Solid alternative

Most importantly, this device works right out of the box without the need for downloading drivers, like Insignia. Strongly recommend as an alternative to Apple's own products, and 100% recommend over the same Insignia device.

It gets a little hot while charging but nothing to be concerned about

The Device Just Works!

Tried using it with a Samsung S10+ phone to a computer monitor and Samsung displays the DeX screen which is worthless but that's not the fault of the device. Working with Samsung support to "correct"!

Very good product if you don't need a full-fledged thunderbolt hub. It is not bulky, so it looks clean and also saves space on the desk. Successfully outputs 4k @ 60Hz. I do sometimes see, a glitch in the display. Can't say for sure if it's the adapter or the monitor [Acer CB282K]. Both are new, and I have not tested any of them with any other products. The additional USB-C port is only for charging. It won't support any SSD or any other device.

Perfect Alternative

Sure, a usb port would be great but my most important need was that the hdmi and usbc ports are on opposite sides. Have bought two total.

Fine Product, but didn't work with Nintendo switch

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't work as I had hoped, so in all fairness, my average review is more a statement that this product by Belkin just didn't work as I had expected. I was hoping to use this to hook up a Nintendo Switch and have it work similar to how the Switch Box does with the TV. Sadly, it didn't interrupt the switch to display video on my TV. So essentially, more of an issue with Nintendo and their proprietary dock than Belkin, BUT... if you're thinking of using this to do the same thing, it didn't work for me. Good luck! happy Gaming!

Quickly Malfunctioned

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally ordered a similar product from a different brand for pick up, however, Best Buy was out of stock when I came to pick up so I was provided this as a replacement. I was happy to use it since it was cheaper than the original one I’d ordered. After a few weeks of light use for mostly homework, the USB-C charging port no longer worked. The other port still works which is why I gave 3 stars. I’ve just not had any success in getting the USB-C port to charge again, even after testing with several different cords.
