I recently had the opportunity to use this product for connecting my Surface Pro to a TV via its HDMI connection. The experience was a seamless one. This is arguably the best way to connect a steam deck to a TV without purchasing a bulky dock. It’s as simple as owning a HDMI cable and the steam deck charger. The only downside (which is of no fault of this product) is that the steam deck has input lag when connecting a wireless controller.

Bought this for my ROG Ally and it works great. I had too many issues with socks I had bought previously and this works great.

The adapter interfaces extremely well. My wife used her IPad to interface to a tv for bible class viewing to 5th and 6th graders. It eliminates the need to carry a heavy lsptop

Works great, does everything it says it does. I use it to connect both my phone and MacBook Neo to my TV/montior.

I was hoping to use this to connect both USB and a monitor to a computer using just one cable (not including charging, as none of my three laptops support USB-C power). No luck. The ONLY use of this adapter is to output HDMI while charging over the same USB-C port -- for some devices. Hooking up something besides a power adapter to the included USB-C jack did not work -- not a flash drive, USB hub, or wireless mouse dongle; it was just ignored. I tried this device with three laptops. The HDMI out worked fine on an older HP Zbook (mobile workstation) with an Intel processor. When plugged into a new Dell G5 gaming laptop, the HDMI also worked great. But with a new ASUS ZenBook featuring a Ryzen 5, it did not work at all, just giving an error (see attached picture). So, if you don't want to use this to transfer USB data, just use HDMI and charging, and your device is compatible, then you might be happy. Otherwise, steer clear.

Hreat product works very efficiently and does exactly what i needed

Wanted a small and reliable device to cast to my TV from either laptop, phone or iPad.. This fits the bill perfectly and also has the option of charging the device in parallel. I use this extensively every day with with my Laptop or iPad and occasionally with my phone. No lags, or useage of the network to cast. Easy to use and a no brainer to purchase. Every household needs one for people older or younger. Buy and you will not regret it.

This little adapter is what I needed to show photos and videos from my phone to my tv via a HDMI connection. A lot quicker and easier to do than AirPlay, especially at a presentation away from home. It’s way cheaper than the Apple version and picture quality is outstanding. It’s plug and play, and you’re ready to go. Bought mine as an open-box item and saved $12.00. Made the savings better.

This is a great accessory to use especially if you need to use HDMI for a monitor. That is what I used it for. The nice thing is that you are able to charge your Macbook with this accessory, since most of my ports are used. I highly recommend this to anyone that needs this adapter for a monitor.

It actually works really good when it wants too. There are times when it connects properly in one shot and other times I could only get a black screen with sound till I played with my phones graphics settings. Other than that the quality is really good and it's pretty cool playing mobile games on your tv
