Bought to connect macbook pro to monitor and it does what exactly i bought it for. Had a hub that has HDMI port but only at 30Hz and the display output was not great. This was at 60Hz, matches the output of macbook pro and hence improved the display output in the external monitor. Owned it for almost a month now and no issues so far.

Great product, great price. Works great with my Surface Pro 7.

I need something that would connected my iPad to a tv so the kids I work with could watch movies. Was scared at first that is wouldn't work like the two I bought from other brands, but thankfully worked out perfect.

I'd say it's a decent product; the build and image quality is good especially at that price point, but I simply wish the cable was a bit longer--though that is just a personal preference. For reference, I use it to connect my MacBook Pro to an external monitor, and the image looks pristine, so it's perfect for creative content creation.

I bought this to stream netflix or youtube videos in my rear entertainment system for my car. I connected a samsung phone to it and it did takea little bit of connecting and disconnecting to get it to work but that might have just been me... otherwise it works perfectly. The kids enjoy it!

Needed this to use for my projector and laptop for a party. It was easy to use and it made a huge difference from the tv to the projector.

I bought this to be able to connect my Ipad to a projector so that I can run a golf simulator. It works great! I love how high the quality is and the impact this has on the signal quality. I highly recommend this product for these sorts of applications.

I originally ordered a similar product from a different brand for pick up, however, Best Buy was out of stock when I came to pick up so I was provided this as a replacement. I was happy to use it since it was cheaper than the original one I’d ordered. After a few weeks of light use for mostly homework, the USB-C charging port no longer worked. The other port still works which is why I gave 3 stars. I’ve just not had any success in getting the USB-C port to charge again, even after testing with several different cords.

This allowed us to use a tablet to stream shows and movies while on vacation (many hotels don't have casting abilities on their TVs). Made the trip that much more bearable! An absolute buy!

Apple is at it again. Bought the new color Mac but if course to do anything other than use the computer itself you have to buy another piece. This is one of them. I’m using a TV for my second monitor and this is what I used. The product itself works perfectly. No complaints with this connector at all.

Have issues with loose connection between my monitor and mac from time to time, but is usually fixed by just unplugging and plugging it back in. This is a good quality dongle with pass through charging if you have a mac, highly recommend.

I loved it! I am able to se my movies and charge my phone same time in case i am running out of battery

I have a Mac mini M1 connected to a Dell dock with thunderbolt USB C. I then connected this adapter to the Dell Dock (WD19TB) to connect my Dell Monitor with HDMI input. This adapter worked great and allows me to use my Dell docking station in conjuction with my new Mac mini M1 with Thunderbolt USB c ports.

Works as intended. Most importantly, this device works right out of the box without the need for downloading drivers, like Insignia. Strongly recommend as an alternative to Apple's own products, and 100% recommend over the same Insignia device.
