With this adapter though I'm still able to use my array of previous-generation USB devices -- flash drives, external hard drives, network adapters, phone cables, data-sync, etc. USB-C is nice, but when living in the reality of a mixed-USB world, these save the day and ease the transition to USB-C.

One for my gaming keyboard and one for my gaming mouse. I didnt have a usb port for my Headset. My laptop has a USB-C port on the back. I plug the USB-C side of the cable in the back of my laptop and plug my headset USB cable into the female end of the cable. Sound works great.

I used this along with a mouse so that I could help run the security pattern on his phone which helped in accessing the phone to transfer all bis old data onto his new phone.
