I actually bought it for the iPad Pro because the new o/s lets you use a thumb drive to upload files. Since it only has a usb-c port, you need a way to convert to regular usb. Works great.

It is very useful and I really like how I don't need something bully on the side of my laptop. Its like it is not even there when connected.
