The adapter was purchased so that we could get external hard drive to plug into this model of computer. Hard to get excited about an adapter. However I love the quality of the Macbook Pro compared to the Macbook Air.

I actually bought it for the iPad Pro because the new o/s lets you use a thumb drive to upload files. Since it only has a usb-c port, you need a way to convert to regular usb. Works great.
