    Unfortunately USB-C is not common place so you essentially have to purchase an adapter. This one is less then the Apple branded and works just as well.

    I purchased this adapter as our local Best Buy was out of the official Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter. It is a well built product, and does what is necessary. I kind of like that it's black instead of white like the Apple cable. It will be nice when USB-C takes off and dongles are no longer necessary.
