Bought this Belkin USB - C adapter to use with my new Samsung Chromebook Plus. Works as it should without the need for any drivers. You can find these adapters cheaper but many of them have hit or miss reviews. I thought it would be better to spend a little more and go with a trusted name like Belkin.

I recently purchased the newest model of the Macbook Pro, and since Apple has since switched over to the USB-C ports, I had to purchase this adapter to connect my USB wires/devices. This product has done its job in the few times that I've had to use it.

I needed this adaptor to use my 2 Tb drive on my 2024 iMac. Worked great!

Works! Allows you to use your current USB cables rather than purchasing USB-C replacements.

I really dont get why its this length. It could literally be 1/3 its size and just be an adapter without a cable, or it could have a decent length, like 6-12 inches of actual cable between the two ends. With the length that it is (i'd guess 5 inches long, didnt measure it) it makes it a little more awkward to use and store. The cable itself is stiff, and I dont want to fold it in half to store it in my bag for worries about breaking anything inside, and the stiffness makes it awkward while it comes out of my computer with anything else attached to it, because it sticks straight out and only slightly bends. However, that being said, it works correctly for both data and charging purposes. I have used it on my 12 inch macbook for data, hooking both a USB to Lightning cable to transfer data from my iphone (which also charges the iphone) and a USB to serial adapter to use my macbook to send programming to a device which uses serial. I have also, purely out of curiosity, used it in a vehicle with a USB C port (with a usb A to micro B) to connect to a phone with android auto, and it passed data from the phone and charge TO the phone. I have attached a photo so you can see the length, since the product specifications doesn't mention it, nor is there a photo on the listing.

Works well with my Samsung s24 phone. Fast transfer. Transfer 1000s of pics fast. Sturdy well made. Overall great

The belkin USBC to 3.0 cable works like charm for my PS5. Had no problems hooking up metal rust or SSD.

With my new iMac, I only get USB Type C connectors, despite that I still have Type A connectors on my devices; This little gadget makes it possible to use those older devices with my new computer. I actually bought two of them--one is for the USB hub I previously purchased, since its main connector is Type A, and the other is for spare devices like some of my outsized flash drives (which normally would have trouble fitting into a port due to their shape and size). Although this adapter is much shorter than Apple's own item, it costs less and does the job perfectly well in its own right. It's just right for certain tasks involving legacy devices on new hardware.

Easy, simple to use adapter helps make my USB connections possible with Apples USB-c or Thunderbolts connections. A must have for any new MacBook user. Great price and easy to store when traveling. Will go back for another one as extra backup.

Just plug and play. Ready to connect all my USB devices, especially thumb drives to the USB C ports in my MacBook.

I had no way to connect an older storage unit to my new Apple computer, and THIS was the perfect solution. It works beautifully, saves you time and trouble and is reasonably priced. This saved me a lot of money!

Bought a couple of these for my 2018 Macbook Pro and they work fantastic. I can now hook my Audio Interface and other items up to the Macbook. Highly recommend!

For the time being, any Macbook Pro purchaser should also purchase this item. The one in question was purchased because it matched my space grey laptop and it looks great and does the trick. The connection is tight on both ends and it feels very solid.
