I have not had any problems with it. The first adapter I got from Apple didn't support USB 3.0. I don't know why Apple would sell something that doesn't use the full ability of their computers.

It was in stock with one other type, but this one was shorter in length and has been just what I needed.

I can now interface with my external hard drive and my CD-ROM drive, together with interfacing with multimedia presentation devices.

USB Type A to USB Type C Adapter to the Rescue

This adapter was the perfect solution for my problem.
