Since Galaxy 8 has USB type C plug - this allows you to adapt your other USB cords to the 8. It is an inexpensive way to do it. Stays on very well.

Yes, we all have a bunch of microUSB cords and this little guy converts them to USB-C, the connector on newer phones. Puts off spending twice as much on a cable. Just hope I don't lose it since it is so small.

This is the best thing to have even if you have a charger for the phone. You can use any type B cord as long as you have this adapter.
