Wouldn’t do it.

Called Apple and even though the box claims compatability with all Apple models it doesnt make their list of recomended wireless chargers.

This is not the expected behavior of the charging pad while in operation. It is designed to support Apple, Samsung, and Google fast charging. Try using another compatible device and avoid using phone cases thicker than 3mm (lightweight plastics only) for isolation. Convenience with sacrifices

Charge time is extremely low and easily stops charging somehow overnight so I wake up with little to no charge on my phone. Will continue using the lightning cable as this is unreliable and slow.

If the phone doesn’t sit just right on it, it won’t charge. Many times I’ve went to grab my phone off of here and it hasn’t charged. I figured this would work pretty good given the brand name. That would be a big NO!

The unit is expected to deliver a fast charge to your compatible devices with no metallic phone case (lightweight plastics) and should not exceed the minimum thickness of 3mm.
