Phone charger

This is first time using this device. I was under the impression once you lay the phone on the pod it starts to charge immediately. I've seen were I have to lay the phone back and forth for it to find a charge. Once it starts to charge it's okay and charges just like a standard plug in charger. I was under the assumption it was a fast charger. Thank you

But maybe it did say that on the box and I didn't read it so it is on me.

Belkin wireless charger
