This field is picked up by a matching set of coils inside the phone and use it as energy to charge the battery. But, the location of the charging coil may vary depending on the model of your phone. That's odd. The Wireless Charging Pad (WIA001) has a light status indicator to help ensure proper alignment and functionality.
When the Charging Pad's LED indication is off, it indicates that the charger is in standby mode. When the light is white (on then off), it signifies the power is on. When the light is solid white, it implies your phone is charging or has been fully charged. When the indicator turns solid orange, your phone is not properly aligned (charging error).
Also, you may need to contact our support hotline should this case requires advanced troubleshooting.
