I have no complaints about this platform and it works regardless of how little of the phone is on the platform; as long as it can remain on the pad independently.

The first one hit the floor and did not work anymore. Very handy to just come in the house and throw the phone on the pad to charge.

Won’t work with lifeproof case

I say this bc I have the lifeproof nude case and it starts to charge it IF I get it perfectly situated, but then stops at about 30%. I’m a firm believer in not charging until it’s drained to 10% or less and not taking it off til fully charged. Maybe it works better without a case or this case. Unfortunately this case isn’t easy to take off, so constantly removing it from the case isn’t an option for me. Doesn’t work with my older apple products.

The Belkin WIA001 is compatible with most lightweight phone cases up to 3 mm in thickness. You can try to remove the phone case for isolation and see if it will charge. For further assistance, you can reach out to us at BelkinCares@belkin.com with the link to this review for our reference.
