There shouldn’t be any problem as long as the phone case is just a lightweight plastic which is not more than 3mm and that the charging pad is placed on a flat/even surface. This wireless charger works flawlessly. And, yes, I need to get a newer phone. However, this charger has helped me keep my phone charged until I find a new one. I plan to use w/ my new phone, too. Very easy to use.
