The Wireless chargers use a set of magnetic coils that, is picked up by a matching set of coils inside the phone and use it to charge the battery. But the location of the charging coil may vary depending on the model of your phone. You can try to remove the phone case for isolation.

Wireless chargers use a set of magnetic coils. This field is picked up by a matching set of coils inside the phone and use it to charge the battery but, the location of the charging coil may vary depending on the model of your phone. You can try to move your phone slightly on the Belkin BOOST CHARGE 10W Wireless Charging Pad + QC 3.0 Wall Charger + Cable (WIA001ttBK) to realign the coils or remove the phone case as it can also interfere with the charging.

It seems to be very picky about your phone placement. You have to move your phone around to find a spot where it will start charging. Then you have to watch that it stays charging. Many times, it charges for 30 to 60 secs then stops.
