The location of the charging coil may vary depending on the model of your phone. Thus, you may have to check with your phone's manufacturer for tips on how to properly align your phone on a wireless charger. However, for isolation, try to move your phone slightly on the Belkin WIA001 to align it correctly. Also, removing the phone case may also help. Not with a Pop Socket

Great alternative to a Basic Charging Cable

Designed to deliver 10w to Apple and Samsung products, it can also charge devices needing only 5w. There is nothing to assemble, the device comes with a 4’/1.2m cable and a USB electrical plug. In comparison to two other wireless charging pads that I use, this did charge faster. Still, it is not an instant charge by any means. It does deliver a steady charge and is a much more convenient charging solution for heavy cell users during the day why working at a workstation or desk and needing to move about the workspace. The design features are simple and clean. The product is very light in weight and it is designed with a soft touch bumper around the top perimeter. This design feature keeps your phone from being scratched by the charging disc. The bumper is not a consistent circle but is broken in a couple of places. I think this contributes to the product delivering such a stable, consistent charge. I use a clear light case on my iPhone, and it seemed to charge through it well. The other evening it did not seem to charge at all, and I looked at the case and somewhere throughout the day it had become pretty covered with fingerprints. Wiping them off seemed to solve the problem. I also noticed that if the phone is on the charging disc during periods of the day where calls, text, and emails are continuous, that these interruptions affect the charging and can actually knock it out of a charging state. Helpful for monitoring whether it is charging or not is an LED light on the side of the disc that illuminates white when charging contact has been established and maintained. I would definitely recommend this Belkin Boost Charge Wireless Charging Pad 10w as a very acceptable alternative to the single charging cord that comes with most new phones. I like this one best of any of the three that I own because it is consistent in delivering a charge to my phone.
