It heats 2 cups of cold water, straight out of my fridge, in 2 minutes. For my morning tea. and it shuts off automatically. Faster than the microwave and without all the radiation.

Boils fast, nice auto-shutoff feature, and also easy to clean thanks to the good-sized flip-up lid. Very small base, so it also doesn't take up much room on your counters. Good value, especially if you can catch it on sale.
