Absolutely solid coffee maker, does what you want

I realize pricier ones probably last longer, but for our uses it's been great

Great value for the money

(We tried many at many price points without success.) This does the job perfectly at a fraction of the price of most (nearly all) electric kettles. What's not to like?

User Interface light status colors deceiving

The lights on the fron tell you if it is AM or PM and the PM light is red. This normally means the unit is on for other manufactures. There is either a green or red light on all the time depending if it is am or pm. Also the time LCD Display does not light up. You will need to have a light on to see it. I bought this because of the low price but I would not buy it again because of the user interface.
