If they have added functionality where we don’t need filters it would have been awesome. But I think for the price it’s a good product.

The only negative thing is that the carafe is smaller than our previous coffee maker so we sometimes have to make a second or third pot if we're entertaining.

Odd "programming" controls, no water level view.

We are not very demanding in our coffee maker requirements, so we figured we could not go wrong. Maybe we didn't go wrong, but we sure are less than thrilled with this unit. You have to push the power button twice to have it set to auto start... and the red and green lights on the front are just annoying and of no use what so ever. It takes a good 10-12 minutes to brew. There is nothing special about this brewer, and if you really rely on the programmable start - well, you're likely to be annoyed.
