Who designed this thing? This is the worst coffee maker ever. Let's start with the plain irritating aspects.... 1) the clock has a red indicator for "p.m." Mind you this is no ordinary red dot on an electronic appliance. It's a red beacon it's so bright! And why??? Is "p.m." sacred wherever this this made? 2) there's no indicator strip on the maker itself to measure water so you can see how much you put in without using the carafe. 3) Now the just a bad feature: the carafe's glass is thin and the carafe is bulky. Since you have to use the carafe itself to measure water it's only a short matter of time before the carafe breaks.... guaranteed. Now 4) some very poor designs. The lid of the carafe and the coffee basket do not fit together snugly when brewing. I "think" that's where all the coffee grounds are coming from in the water reservoir. That's right! When your finished brewing (and I only brew a half carafe at a time), somehow coffee grounds get all into the reservoir. Awful product.

I have a Bella coffeemaker and it works fine. But when the carafe broke I found out there are no replacement parts available. I emailed Bella and 2 emails and 30 days later I got a response saying they don’t offer replacement parts but would review my claim. They ask for the model number and copy of the receipt, which I sent last week. So far nothing. I purchased and returned this unit because of the poor customer service and I already have a coffee pot that I can’t use. I bought a universal pot but it doesn’t reach the top. What a waste of good, hard earned money. Do not buy!!

Great little coffee maker, works like a charm. I would recommend buying the Bunn tall filters to keep grounds from spilling over other filters when making anything larger than a 6 cup pot.
