The coffee maker works fine, however the water (and the coffee once it's brewed) dribbles down the spout and on to the counter or the floor as it is poured if the maximum 12 cups are brewed. You must pour very slowly and directly out of the pointed end of the spout to minimize the dribbling.

Returned it - bought the same brand as my old one. Just wasn't as user friendly and much happier with the black & decker.

Avoid Bella coffeemakers

Bella goes out of their way to make their carafes irreplaceable. Basically, if you break the carafe, you can count on having to buy a whole new coffeemaker because Bella does not offer carafes separately. They also design their coffeemakers so that carafes made by another brand won't fit.

Good Machine-Does the job for the price

I go through machines about once per year so it makes no sense to buy expensive machines. This machine has auto on/off and brews a pot rather quickly. Comes with filter too, which is great for the time you run out of disposable filters.
