Upon opening the box, I was immediately disappointed. I could hear something rattling around inside and discovered that it was a little tab that had broken off from the side of the container. This seemed like a bad sign as to the quality of the product, but I didn't think much else of it until I actually tried to use it. As it turns out, the purpose of that little tab is two-fold; it works with two other tabs to lock the container into the base of the blender, and together the 3 tabs are used to trigger the blend action. Well...trying to use the container with only two tabs proved to be detrimental. It must have been intended to be some sort of safety system as well because when I tried pushing the container onto the blender base and twisting it to trigger the blender, it became lopsided and made a loud grinding noise. This didn't bode well for future uses, so I decided to exchange the blender in hopes that this experience was unique. The second blender I received arrived in perfect condition so I was able to use it the way the manufacturer intended for people to use it. I have to say that the actual blending motor is extremely powerful and works really well. However it is deafeningly loud and even running it for a couple of seconds sends my pets scurrying to other parts of the house in fear of an imminent threat. As for myself, I have to wear hearing protection when I run this blender. Out of curiosity I decided to check the decibel level on this blender. Blending only water in the container, the decibel level clocked in at 103! For comparison, that is the same level of noise as a jet flyover at 100ft (according to EarQ)! Just to make this a fair critique, I checked my old blender in the same location and it was only 85dB (comparable to busy city traffic). To wrap up my review, I think the biggest problem with this blender is that Bella tried to come up with a powerful but cheap blender for consumers. They combined a strong motor with really cheap plastic parts that cannot withstand the strength of the blender for very long and end up breaking easily. Also there is a significant lack of sound suppression with the design. Creating a more sound-proof casing or including some kind sound barrier (like they have in smoothie shops) would definitely make this more appealing to consumers.

It did not come in an original box but we needed it right away. It worked for a bit but eventually stopped working. We had to throw it away.

Absolutely horrendous sound. I would not have accepted this sound level for even a larger machine but it is just not OK for a personal blender. My wife threw it away after a few uses.

To start off, I didnt spend more than 10 bucks for this product anyway because of a good deal. I used it fine for a couple of times. The third time, the washer in the bottom screw somehow went into the mixer and into my banana smoothie. It made weird noises but I couldnt figure that and let it run. Within a few as I removed it noticed that the round washer is now inside the mixer with my smoothie cut into chunks of big pieces. How did it happen or why, one does not know. But Beware. Notice such things and be careful about consuming that shake. Now it goes back into the store as it stats to leak liquid out of the container as not enough sealant is there.

Worked fine for some time. And then suddenly stopped working. I must've used it not more than 15 times. The motor stopped working. Also, the cup leaks.

Just picked up my Bella blender from my online order. Got home and decided to try it out whipping up milk for a latte. Smoke begun pouring out of the unit along with the unpleasant smell of burning electrical. I can only imagine if I had tried to use this with anything that would have put actual strain on it, such as a smoothie. Returning and will not be purchasing a replacement.

Blender is good for very lightweight use. It stopped working in 2 months for me. After 5 minutes of use, burning smell came and unit stopped working. Start / Stop button could have been a good addition.

You get what you pay for. I jumped at this deal for 14.99 because it was time to replace the Cooks I had of ten years. This thing kept stopping and eventually the top got stuck with all my smoothie ingredients. Husband tried prying it off but couldn't. Waste of money. Total disappoinment. I would give zero stars if it was option.

Its cheaply made. Stopped working after a month of use. Tried contacting bella but they did not even care to respond. Seema like they know their product is bad. Wish could give zero star to this one. Also one of the jars broke. Its very low quality

Broke first time using it. This is literally the worst product I’ve ever purchased. Wish I realized how much of a giant piece of garbage this was. Couldn’t handle the smoothie that my little ninja blender does every single day with no problem.

Don’t buy this and waste your money. It was broken after a few times use within 3 weeks. But unable to return as it was out of the return window. I would strongly recommend not to buy this and end up like me.

I got this for free because I used my rewards, but I regret getting this. I needed something to chop my foods easier but I would constantly have to remove and shake the cup container.

It's a nice little blender for a good price. Unfortunately, stopped working after only a handful of uses. There is no direction as to what to do in this regard. I would not recommend it if you want something durable.

This blender is of very poor quality. Blends are not strong enough and they are deep inside so hard to clean. its better to add some extra money and get the better quality rather than purchasing this one

I dont think i can trust bella products ever again. They seem like great value but they break so easily. Didnt even have mine for a day and the container broke already.

It seamed to work so well... until it started leaking... after blending coffee drinks for couple of weeks. About a dozen times. Found cracks in the plastic surrounding the blades. Big bummer.

I bought it on May 2021 . I hardly used i twice a week and it stopped working after 7months!!!! I am not sure whether it comes under warranty or not
