But when doing the smallest you have to stir it often as it cooks and unplug it immediately after it’s done or else it will start to burn/get crispy on the bottom. But other than that it’s a great rice cooker!

Used it for making homemade applesauce as well as cooking rice. Only comment is that it doesn’t have an “off” switch. Goes straight to “warm” setting when done cooking the rice. Needs to be unplugged to turn off completely.

Clean up on aisle 3!

This is my third or fourth rice cooker over the years and, by far, the biggest disappointment. If you make any more than one cup of rice (using the measuring cup provided), the water boils up to the lid with such force that steam and water with rice residue leaks all down the sides of the rice cooker and on the the countertop. I’ve never experienced this before and if I didn’t live so far from a Best Buy, I would have returned it. I did however give it two stars as, other than the disastrous mess it creates, it does a reasonably good job cooking the rice quickly and keeping it warm.
