The trick is always put 2 breads, if you try to put one it will burn the toast from one side. Otherwise it's great toaster. This one also smells weird for the first few times but it will be fine after that.

My daughter had one from amaz0n on her wishlist for her new apartment. But i dont trust the zon to be safe. So i bought this one again

Not for bagels

Bagel setting does not work. It is supposed to turn off outside heating elements. It does not. Returned toaster for replacement. In person customer service told me it is a very common issue and hopefully the replacement toaster works properly. It did not. Same bagel setting issue. It is unfortunate, because it toasts bread wonderfully and if the bagel setting worked, I'm sure bagels would be toasted to perfection.

This baby works great. Takes up less space on the counter, makes toast very even, has all the features of the more expensive models.

$9.00 Toaster

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It has a very light plastic body, a groove around the top that catches crumbs (it isn’t designed to do this) and it has to be tuned upside down to get them out. The darkness guide works well and it does have a bagel and gluten setting. Crumb tray slides out of the bottom and I had a hard time getting it to come all the way out. Only paid $9.00 so no big deal if. It fails.
