I bought it because I recently had to stop eating gluten, and I was so happy to see that it has a gluten setting. It works great on my gluten free bread. Overall, a very worthwhile purchase!

And now that I have a Bread Making Machine, this Toaster extra wide slots that can self center is even more appreciated when I slice thick slabs of homemade bread. One reviewer commented on uneven toasting, and I've seen a little bit of that, but nothing so widespread or serious as to cause me any concern. I caught my toaster on sale, but even without a sale would have considered this Toaster an excellent value.

The price was another factor in purchase by being the least expensive. Price and efficiency made this toaster an excellent purchase!
