Unfortunately, as other reviewers have stated, this toaster does not toast evenly. Refer to the waffle pictures attached. Bread toast somewhat evenly when the dial is at #2. However, beyond it will toast like the waffle. I returned it and ordered a different brand.

I bought this toaster to replace my 20 year old toaster.It worked well in the beginning, but it malfunctioned about 36 days in. The heating elements still work but the lever will not stay down and I see sparks when I push the lever down. Best Buy doesn't allow returns after 30 days. I was told to contact the manufacturer for warranty. The toaster has a 2 year warranty. I called the manufacturer 800 number, a customer service rep came on very quickly. She told me to that she will email me instructions on how to contact the help department. I sent the help department an email complete with videos, picture and whatever they wanted. That was 7 days ago, I have not heard back from them. I hope to get a replacement unit.

Best Buy has asked for a review of this toaster, so I will give one. I bought this toaster to replace a 20+ year old toaster that was unpredictable. This one is no better. I started with a low setting, which toasted one side more that the other. I flipped the toast, and it overtoasted the previously poorly-toasted side. I have not found the setting that toasts predictably. The same setting gives different results on different days. I bought this toaster at a huge discount, and it is possibly worth that much-discounted price, but not its usual retail price.

This toaster is wide enough for regular bread. Yet, not long enough.

Slots are not long enough to insert a regular sized piece of bread without folding it.

The toaster is too powerful for bread. I don't know what type of bread others put in, but I use standard bread from the market, and when I turn the dial higher than 1 then my toast burns. Also, the inside half cooks faster than the outside half. A toaster should cook evenly. Also, there is a burning smell throughout my house due to the toaster.

Just another junk product that doesn't work for long.

Personal I think is toasts too much, but if you like very toasted is fine

We've owned 7 months and the latch mechanism doesn't work to keep the bread down to toast. We have to hold the handle down until the bread is toasted.

It’s not the best toaster. Glad I got it on sale. Not the best quality at all.

Very simple basic toaster for a college student nothing fancy

Looks like a fine toaster. I like to shorter height than my old toaster but it doesn't hold bread loaves that are wide. It can handle thick slices but not wide breads. Returning to store.

Good Toaster for the price. Met all of my expectations.

Although the name is 2-Slice Extra-Wide, it is not extra wide at all, it does not fit the wide toast I buy, it still toasts good - but I have to put the toast twice on its sides (toast one half then flip it to toast the other half) If you buy the regular toast, you might be able to use this more efficiently

I bought this toaster for my mom. most of the time the slices of bread get stuck. if you don't put very thin things to toast it works

This is my second Bella toaster after I returned my first one for a defective feature. After getting it exchanged, I found that the same feature (one-sided toasting) was not functioning again. My old toaster broke so I kept this one even thought this one feature did not work as the price was right and it still operates for normal toasting.

The openings do not fit a standard size piece of bread. I have to cut off the ends to get it to fit.

I love the look of this toaster, however I tried putting in a slice of bread which was only slightly larger (lengthwise) than a normal slice of bread & it will not fit inside the toaster! So you actually have to put toast in sideways & therefore only one side of it will not get toasted. A bit disappointing as I’ve never had that issue with a toaster before. Other than that it works just fine

The slice width is limited, so you can't put in certain breads. It also browns more one side than the other.
