A no contender fryer

I own a couple of deep fryers but they are too bulky and storage is always a drag. Anyway, the pictures of this pot’s strainer looked almost the size of it, but is not. Deep frying strainer is small. It is a disappointment. Kept it though because of the sale price. At regular price, I will not recommend this product.

Upon careful inspection

The lid gets HOT!

It will burn whatever you set it on! It burnt a ring into my butcher block counter!

Very Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After searching for a long time for a deep pan to make one-skillet meals, I was happy to find this great looking skillet. Unfortunately my joy quickly turned to dismay. After making just one meal on a smooth glass cooktop, the finish on the gray underside (exterior) of the skillet has already worn away in three separate places. I don't know if this flaw will affect cooking performance, but it is highly disappointing. I am sorry to complain, but I think a marred surface after one use not acceptable.
