Build quality could be better as the lid/ top part falls off easily. This could cause injuries too. So be careful to hold the lid steady without burning your hands while using it.

The instructions say you can remove the plates for cleaning, but doesn’t tell you how, and I can’t figure it out. The drip tray is difficult to remove safely and the greasy steam emits from the edges gets all over the exterior and doesn’t clean easily.
