It is easy to clean. I wish it had a temperature control. It is on or off. You have no choice in how done it gets unless you stand there and check on it.

We like how easy it is to simply plug it in, let it warm up, pour in mix, close and flip. The light changes color to let you know it is done. You can also tell by the steam, and smell as it cooks. The drip plate is nice if you overfill, and easy to clean.

Perfect waffles every time and soooo easy. My husband makes waffles all the time now (he doesn’t like cooking).
