Waiting for help with defective machine

Set up of clock, programming feature was easy. Brewing was completed within 8 minutes for 4-6 cups. Then, about 25 days after receiving, I noticed some water on countertop. Assumed I was sloppy in filling, so was super careful that evening for set up. Water again in morning when we got up. Again, thought maybe brew cycle was producing too much steam, so I got up BEFORE brewing started. The towel I had place under the machine was wet, water level indicater showed about 1 cup less than when set up. Return window at our local store was past, but Best Buy gave me a phone number to call Bella. No response yet to my voicemail I left there on 3/29.

There is always a residue at the bottom of the decanter. I think paper filter would perform better!

Decent Budget Friendly Coffee Pot with Timer

Great space saving design. Cons-Difficult to fill without spilling water everywhere and having water drip down the sides of the basket onto the hot plate.
