Coffee grounds in the bottom of the pot. I prefer to use paper filters.

Up to six cups, this is a decent coffee maker; however, anything more than that, and it will not drain the basket fast enough to keep up with the hot water flow. This means that eight cups of coffee has some grounds in it, and ten cups is a mess, with the grounds flowing over the top of the basket and spreading coffee gounds all over the inside of the basket holding area. It was cheap, and I got precisely what I paid for.

Love that you can program the automatic shut off up to 4 hours before shut off and tells you when it needs clean also.

I bought this on sale for $39. In a move to get away from the K-cup craze, I snagged this to introduce more effort and less waste if I really feel the need for caffeine. The biggest issue with the maker is the spout. Every time that I've brewed, noatter the amount of grounds in the filter, the backsplash causes the wet grounds to cause more clean up than desired. Expect to remove the plastic filter housing to be thoroughly rinsed at the very least after every use. As a hot pot for tea, this is a great choice over an overpriced kettle.

Difficult to pour in water, water spillage from lid when loading in water or coffee. Container spillage when pouring coffee.

Horrible, set up for clock & everything else. I returned it after neither my husband or I could do the setup which is a first for us, usually a child can do it.

I like the reusable filter and easy set up. I havent tried the timer but it will be handy if I ever need it.

We just love our new coffee pot. It matches great with our other appliances and we love being able to program out coffee to brew in the morning.

It brews on timely manner, easy to clean. It's appealing, however I still get a weird taste from the coffee.
