You get what you pay for

In a move to get away from the K-cup craze, I snagged this to introduce more effort and less waste if I really feel the need for caffeine. The biggest issue with the maker is the spout. Every time that I've brewed, noatter the amount of grounds in the filter, the backsplash causes the wet grounds to cause more clean up than desired. Expect to remove the plastic filter housing to be thoroughly rinsed at the very least after every use. As a hot pot for tea, this is a great choice over an overpriced kettle.
