I choice this item because I was unhappy with the toaster that I had. I wanted a two slot because four slot toasters have four items ready at the same time and if preparing something that the bread needed to be hot, two pieces would be cold by the time I got to them. And my family has gotten smaller. It happens. This Bella toaster looks like something I saw as a child on my extended family's tables. I love that retro stainless steel look. It has made great toast and pops up far enough that you don't have to go digging for it. I love that I can change the toasting time to fit the kind of item I am toasting. White bread, rye and whole wheat really take different toasting times. I am very pleased.

This toaster is a great 2-slice toaster for smaller kitchens that don't have the room for the 4-slice version. It toasts evenly with multiple toaster settings. It also has wide slots for bagels and other larger toastable food items.

I bought this on a Deal of the Day promotion. So glad I did! The toaster looks stainless steel bright and shiny, sleek and modern. That was an unexpected surprise! As to functionality of my toaster, the most important thing, I don’t hesitate to give this 5 stars. Whether toast, bagels, muffins, or even my extra fluffy Eggo Waffles, everything pops up perfect when done! I don’t have a problem of one side being toasted nicely while the other side is not toasted or burnt. That’s a problem I’ve had with previous toasters. Also, as it says, the slots are extra wide, so large thick bagels are no problem. This is a great toaster, something we use every day.

This toaster is lightweight, slots are wide enough to accommodate bagels, barbecue bread, and other delicious food! The settings allow for a variety of brownings, even gluten free items! Cleanup is a breeze. The tray on the bottom of toaster slides right out, the outside of the toaster can just be wiped cleaned, with a dry paper towel, and you are done! Yes, I would recommend this toaster to all my friends , neighbors, colleagues, and anyone else who is looking for a simple, but durable, multifunctional, wide slotted toaster!

Great quality in a medium priced toaster. Also very attractive and matches stainless appliances. Most importantly, it toasts everything, every thickness evenly and crispy.

I read multiple reviews and from what I can tell the people that had a bad experience had more to do with the product "batch" then the overall product. Dealing with mass manufactured items that is usually going to be a solid truth. In the meantime; we did not have any bad experiences and with having owned the product for about a year now this was a great gift last year that has been very good to us!

Toaster is basic but it futs my needs. Seems to be toasting jusy fine and evenly. Appearance is nice as well. No issues so far. Got it on sale at a good price.

This machine is pure magic. I put bread in and somehow, some way (I suspect sorcery), toast comes out. Google says, "When bread is placed in a toaster or oven and exposed to heat, several physical and chemical reactions take place. The heat causes the moisture in the bread to evaporate, resulting in a dry and crispy texture. Additionally, the heat causes sugars in the bread to caramelize, giving it a golden brown color and a distinct flavor", however, I think this is pure wizardry.

This toaster has met all of our expectations that a toaster should have. We are very happy with the sleek look and the slots that can handle both toast or bagel.

It was time for my old toaster to go and this seemed like a nice and fairly inexpensive replacement. It works nice and does all it’s supposed to do.

Wide slot for bread slices makes it convenient for bagels etc. Toaster feels like good quality.

Got this because my 1950s toaster finally gave up. Great product for the price and toasts very evenly.

We bought 4 toasters before we settled on this one because it met our basic requirement that a toaster should toast both sides of a piece of bread evenly. This toaster is also sleek and easy to keep clean. The only thing it lacks is a control to only engage one slot, but that's a small issue which is far outweighed by its superior toasting.
