I'm very happy with this toaster. Once you figure out what the darkness settings translate to on different items it is consistent and even. All of my settings are toward the low side. I toast bread and bagels and I do appreciate the bagel setting. The controls are intuitive and it is an attractive appliance. Also easy to clean.

This toaster is very inconsistent in it's toasting. Also, the darkness slider is very flimsy and broke off.

I bought this mainly for ths color. One side toasts fine but the other is less toasted.
