Waffle Maker Works Fine - Received Faulty Maker

The rotating part of the waffle maker was missing about 50% of the plastic piece and wasn't included in the box. Not sure if I received a previous returned item or what. Like most of us, I removed the item from the packaging and then threw it out. Two days later I went to use the iron and noticed the defect/issue after using it and going to flip the waffles in the maker. The whole arm collapsed. To finish our breakfast I had to tape the piece together using duct tape. Product worked great after the duct tape but horrible it can't be returned after Best Buy gave it to me in this condition.
