And it just me and my girlfriend. So the size seems like a good size for two people. Based on the other reviews this seemed like the best unit for us.

Good fryer for a student

Easy to clean. The only thing I didn't like when new it was opening and closing the tray was hard, but using it a couple of times she says it got smoother. I hope it won't get too loose after a while and not close properly.

some design issues/flaws

I would typically have to touch a control multiple times in order to get it to register once. This eventually drove me nuts after a little while. Also, I think the crisper insert could have been better designed. The silicon attachments are on the 4 edges of the crisper. I found it cumbersome and awkward to insert/remove this crisper.
