I thought this was a great air fryer when I had purchased it. The most frustrating thing about this is the touch controls. It is difficult to use the controls because you have to touch or hold onto a button to trigger certain commands. There's no feedback on how to actually use it. Many times I just resort to plugging/unplugging the device because the controls are so ridiculous. After all this, it's been a good device. My handle+front tray would get loose from the inner tray after a couple of months of use. At some point (6 months after purchase), the screws holding into the handle/front tray completely broke off off from the inner tray. The device is now unusable. I'd highly recommend avoiding this air fryer.

This is my second review of a Sensio Bella Pro product; previously I reviewed their Capsule Espresso machine and Milk Frother. I use them often and was really impressed with their build quality, so I had some expectations when it came time to review their air fryer. I was not disappointed! I’ve been using it now for over a week and it’s made my prior air fryer obsolete. The large capacity of the fry basket was worth upgrading. I know that there are ‘family sizing’ charts (even on Sensio’s own site) that show this as sized for larger families, but I want to stress that I find great value in it even as a single person. With more space in the basket, my foods are less crowded – which translates to more even and more efficient cooking, even with smaller portions. This has both improved the quality of my results, but also led to shorter cooking times compared to my previous unit. And the biggest surprise was that despite being both larger and more powerful than my previous fryer, the Bella Pro is at LEAST 50% quieter. I honestly had to check it the first time I used it because I wasn’t sure it was working correctly! I found the presets offered to be great starting points, especially for first time users but also helpful to people like myself who are coming from other brand’s fryers. The touch control dashboard was easy to navigate, and I got used to it right away. It’s clean and intuitive and like the rest of the design, fits in well in any kitchen. And importantly, it’s easy to clean. I often clean it by hand in my sink, but the tray and basket also do well in my dishwasher’s top rack. I also liked the intelligence of the pause feature; you can pause the timer independently, but the heating element/fan pauses automatically when you remove the basket as well. A small feature, but something I didn’t have on my older unit, and I liked it right away. Thought went into the engineering and this shows from the moment you open the box; even the packaging was well designed! Is it perfect? Pretty darn close in my opinion, but there are a couple of minor things I will point out… none of them deal breakers by any means. For one thing, the alarm tone is a bit on the meek side, though this seems to be a trend among kitchen devices lately. I prefer a louder alarm so I can hear things from my office or when I’m watching TV (I don’t have a larger house, either) but that may just be my hearing. The cord seems a little on the short side; while it’s totally usable I would have liked a few more inches of play so I had more options. Finally, I thought it would have been nice to have seconds displayed along with minutes on the timer like my old unit did, but I’ve come to miss this less the more I use it. I think this was more of a transitionary thing, but I wanted to be thorough in my review. Ultimately though, I was so impressed with the Sensio Bell Pro Air Fryer that I cleaned and packed my old unit away – this is my “daily driver” and I’ve been using it often and loving the results. I did have a small defect on the unit I received; it wasn’t anything that prevented me from using the device. More of an annoyance than an issue. But I contacted Sensio support and they remedied the issue to my complete satisfaction in a matter of days. Based on my experience using the fryer, as well as my awesome support experience, I’d highly recommend the Sensio Bella Pro 6.0 QT Air Fryer Touchscreen! Pros • Packing, instructions good first impression • 5-pound 6.0-quart capacity is not just for large families • Presets are good starting points for newbies • High performance but super quiet • Good controls, good layout • Excellent support Cons • Alarms kind of meek • Short AC Cord • Timer doesn’t show seconds

I purchased this air fryer because my Nuwave stopped working. This air fryer is nice but it’s not as big as my Nuwave which is ok I just want it for fries and it doesn’t detach from the handle and I notice it’s only 1500 watts where as my Nuwave was 1800 watts. So with that said I’ll enjoy it while it lasts

We’ve been using air fryers and air ovens for a while now, but the largest air fryer we have is only 4qt and decided to get a larger device. I decided to give this Bella Pro 6qt a try. Unpacking and setting up: The air fryer comes nicely packed and well protected with mostly recyclable materials inside. I was surprised that it’s almost exactly the same sized as our smaller air fryer, “sitting them side by side you can’t see much of a difference”. Once opening up and taking out the frying basked you can definitely see the difference between the two. The front of the fryer is all stainless steel “except for the control panel”, the sides and top are plastic but I kind of wish the top were SS also but that’s just me. After taking out the basket and giving it a quick wash I ran the device on full power for 15 minutes expecting a lot of smell, “our smaller one stunk horribly the first few uses”, and was surprised that there was almost no smell at all. Using: First I really like how many different settings this one has, “our old unit only has time/temp that’s it”, this one has multiple settings from air fry, roast, broil, bake, reheat, and French fries. The temp control goes in 10F increments “our old one is 5F” but that’s a narrow enough range from what I can tell. We’ve made egg rolls, chicken strips, popcorn shrimp, and breakfast sausage, so far and they all come out perfectly. I also took some lunch meat “sliced ham “two pieces”, and placed a slice of Swiss cheese in between, then rolled them up and put a toothpick in them. Cooked at 350F for 7 minutes and you end up with a really good appetizer. I have found that you don’t really want to go by the heat settings that comes with the food, “it’s always a good bit lower” and the centers get more evenly done at a lower temp and longer cooking time “by a few degrees lower and just a couple longer”. The basket is plenty large for a couple “maybe three” Cornish hens and that’s what I’ll be trying next. Our old one could hold 2 but was too crowded to cook them evenly so it will be nice to have the room and the actual bake setting to try them out on. Conclusion: This air fryer has a bunch of handy settings and we’ll be trying them all. It’s a lot more convenient than having just having time/temp. The basked is not ventilated in any way like our old unit and I could see making a nice stew in this one or having a good sized roast in there without having to worry about it overflowing through the vents holes in the basket. The non-stick coating seems to be doing a great job, and all we’ve had to do is give it a good spraying with the kitchen faucet and very little soap, and so far nothing has stuck, even the cheese. So far I can’t find anything to complain about and have really enjoyed cooking in this air fryer, looks like our old one will be getting a lot of shelf time “unless we need two for a larger meal”. So if you are looking for a new air fryer this Bella Pro 6qt just may be the right size for you and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed, “we weren’t”.

With a generous six-quart basket, the $100 1500-Watt Sensio Bella Pro stainless steel and touchscreen air fryer is a great choice, as it turns out. The basket and crisper tray are dishwasher safe. Like ALL air fryers, there is a heating element at the top and a fan that circulates the heat. The only differences among the settings are those that determine the temperature, automatically determine the fan speed to distribute air around the food in the basket and the timing. This air fryer can also be manually set for cooking time and temperature. Features and benefits include (from manufacturer): 1500-WATT HEATING SYSTEM •Get fried food in less time than it takes to your oven to pre-heat •High performance Circular Heat Technology circulates heat for fast, crispy and evenly cooked food 5.0 POUND FOOD CAPACITY •Recommended for 5 to 7 people •Fill your cooking pan, set the temp and time and your done INTUITIVE TOUCHSCREEN CONTROL •Easy touch digital touchscreen interface •Integrated 60-minutes auto shutoff timer with audible tone •Adjustable temperature range from 90F to 400F 6 IN 1 VERSATILE AND HEALTHY COOKING •Air Fry, Roast, Broil, Bake, Reheat and Dehydrate DISWASHER SAFE PARTS •PFOA-free non-Stick cooking Pan and crisping tray OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES •Non-stick 6’’ Pizza Pan, 6’’ SS Dehydrate Rack, 6’’ Kitchen Tongs RECIPES INCLUDED •Start cooking like a chef from breakfast to dinner and desserts **WHAT’S IN THE BOX** • Sensio Bella Pro 6.0 QT Stainless Steel Air Fryer with digital touchscreen • Documentation **THE SETUP** Per the manual, wash the air fryer’s non-stick basket and crisping tray. Decide what to try first, perhaps using suggestions and recipes from the included manual/booklet. It’s time to . . . **PUT IT TO THE TEST** I bought a six-pound chicken, tested to see if it would fit within the basket, and it did! Though billed as having a five pound capacity, I was pleasantly surprised. With room to spare, I prepped the chicken with an oil rub and seasoning placing it in the basket breast side down. I cut a couple of russet potatoes into wedges, seasoned and distributed the wedges on and around the chicken. For this test I chose the Air Fry setting at the time and temp suggested, and pressed the button to start. At the prescribed time after starting, I flipped the bird to breast-side up for the last leg (pun intended). When finished and tested with a thermometer probe for doneness, how did it come out? Deeeeee-licious! Juicy, moist and tender. Next, I used the French Fry setting for cauliflower fries, then the Convection setting for heating a sandwich with cheese on it, so the cheese would melt without so much heat to burn the top of the bread. Salmon fillets came out perfectly on the Air Fry setting. Next a pair of 2-1/2” thick steaks on Broil. Would these expensive steaks be ruined? No, they were juicy and rare with a single turn. Here is the best part of using a dedicated air fryer – NO mess outside of the air fryer and easy cleanup, much easier than using a conventional oven or a countertop multipurpose appliance that includes air frying capabilities. Think about this! When finished with every food prepared, out came the basket with crisper tray. Into dishwasher dirty, the pieces came out clean! On subsequent trials, I tested how well the basket and crisper tray would clean up in the kitchen sink. This was easy, too. The lesson learned is that the convenience and versatility of this Sensio Bella air fryer combined with the easiest possible cleanup makes this a smart purchase. One piece of advice for anyone cooking for two or more – get at least a six-quart basket up to the largest one available. Smaller baskets limit what can be done. Go big! The only consideration for this and every other countertop appliance is . . . where to keep it when not in use for easy retrieval if the kitchen lacks countertop space to leave it out. **CONCLUSION** An unequivocal winner! What’s not to like? **WARRANTY** Two year manufacturer’s warranty
