Cooks fine, Overly simplistic and basic.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Bella Pro series digital air fryer toaster oven did not live up to my expectations for the product. I have done some air frying with French fries and salmon burgers and they came out just fine. Cooking a frozen pizza went well, but the process to cook food just seemed overly simplistic and basic. Certainly not "pro". There are too few buttons. Picking a mode you have to cycle through using the arrow buttons and defaults the time on the air fryer to 25 mins and then you have to cycle down or up with the temp and time arrow buttons. It also takes what seemed like and overly long time to preheat. I will say it does cook well which should be expected. It is big. It can fit a 12" pizza which is a bonus for me and I am excited to try the rotisserie this holiday season. I like that it combines the air fryer with the toaster to eliminate an extra appliance that needs to sit out. It is lightweight which is good for moving around if you need extra counter space but also makes it seem flimsy and cheaply built. Bottom line, this is a very average product. it will cook your food fine. It is just a little too basic to be part of a Pro series.

Middle of the road toaster oven
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Bella Pro Series 6 slice air fryer/toaster oven to replace a bulkier, similar appliance that I have in my kitchen. The first thing that you will notice is how light weight this appliance is. For me, it is a good thing because I like to be able to easily remove this item if I need more counter space. The second thing that you will notice is that the manual that this appliance comes with is not very good. You have to basically tinker with the control panel to figure out how to work it. Overall, the control is fairly intuitive and easy to manipulate. Once I started to put food in the oven, here is what I noticed: The toaster works fairly well. My family and I like to toast bread, waffles, bagels and English muffins. Overall, all of the items mentioned were toasted evenly, which is what you want. Once I removed the items from the oven, you are left with an annoying fan that won't shut off unless you unplug the oven. I also used the oven to air fry some Buffalo wings and those turned out very well. The pan did a good job of capturing the grease that came off the wings. My wife was eager to bake a small cake with this oven and overall, it also did a good according to her. Her only complaint was the light isn't bright enough to see how well the cake is baking. I didn't roast a chicken in the oven, because it doesn't look big enough to handle the bird. Overall, it did a good job with the items that I asked it to toast/cook/bake for me. For me, the downside was the annoying fan!

Air Fryer that does it all!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The air fryer itself is very big so make sure you have a storage space for it that is also easily accessible because you'll want to use this all the time. Even though I have a dedicated toaster, I have been using the Bella Pro Series air fryer and I have noticed that the toaster function on this Bella Pro Series gives an even toast whether there are 2 pieces or the maximum 6 pieces of toast. Aside from that, the air fryer function produces crispy french fries from fresh sliced potatoes or a frozen bag of fries. I sometimes use it for frozen tater tots and they are always perfectly crisp and delicious! Although I don't bake a lot, baking on the Bella Pro Series Air Fryer is a little bit of a challenge. It took a couple of tries to dial down the correct temperatures and timing for an even bake on muffins. I love a rotisserie chicken and this air fryer does not disappoint when cooking a rotisserie chicken. The set up takes a little bit of time but once set up it's as simple as setting the temperature and timer to get the perfect cook that you need. Overall, this air fryer is highly useful and a daily staple to my cooking experience in my kitchen now.

Cooks well enough, but annoying
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this for a few reasons. One is that I like to make my own whole-wheat breadcrumbs and I figured I could use this instead of my main oven to toast the bread, then use the air fry function to dry the crumbs. Another reason is that I sometimes need an extra oven for a side dish to cook at a different temperature than my main oven and I thought this would work for that. I also hoped that it would air fry faster than my main oven. At the risk of spoiling things, I’ll day is does all of those things very well. So why only 3 stars? Well, this oven has some very annoying issues. First of all, the outside surfaces get VERY hot. I don’t just mean warm so that you don’t want to touch them. They get very close to the internal temperature of the oven. I went to reach for the handle to open the door and one of my fingers brushed against the oven’s housing and came back with a nasty burn. It just seems that there is no insulation of any sort inside the oven at all. It does seem to use double-wall construction, but it’s not enough to hold in the heat. Another problem is the fan. Once you start cooking, it runs continuously. I left it running for about six hours. The hove was completely cooled to room temperature, but the fan continued to run. I had to unplug it to stop the fan. I know he instructions say to unplug the oven when not in use, so maybe this is the manufacturer’s way of enforcing that. It would be nice if it could be left plugged in sitting on the counter, ready for use. Besides making bread crumbs, which worked very well, I air fried some chicken wings and they came out nicely. They cooked faster than the air fry function on my LG gas range, and even faster than my dedicated air fryer. And unlike my dedicated air fryer, this oven has a window where I can see the progress instead of stopping the appliance to check. I also used the bake function for a pre-packaged side dish and it came out great, cooking a little faster than its label called for. I did not try the rotisserie function, but I will say that the oven is a bit small to cook a whole chicken as shown in the photos. It might be good for a turkey breast or small ham, though. Overall, I do like this oven. It cooks well and looks nice, but the hot surfaces and continuous fan are problems that prevent me from recommending it.

Disappointing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this Bella Pro 6-Slice air fryer toaster oven and rotisserie. It is compact, lightweight, and packs a lot of features – eliminating the need for multiple small appliances. On the positives, the features work as advertised. The toaster oven toasts, air fries, bakes, etc well. Food is cooked thoroughly and evenly. But there are too many negatives for me to recommend this appliance. - First and foremost, it runs incredibly hot. The oven has practically no insulation or effective cooling fan. When running, it will warm up not only the food, but also the rest of the kitchen. I would not let children come near it when it’s operating. - Second and related, not only is the cooling fan ineffective, it starts as soon as a function is engaged and runs continuously until the oven is unplugged. I would have expected the fan to stop once the oven was cool, but it does not seem to be tied to any kind of temperature sensor. Even when I ran the oven for a few seconds which is not enough time to start warming it up, the fan started and would not turn off. Irritatingly, the instructions do not make note of this fan behavior so you’re left wondering if something is defective. - Third, there is no interior light. For a “Pro” series, this seems lacking. - Next, there is no quick way to directly select the function you want. When you turn it on, it defaults to Air Fry. From there, you have to use the arrow buttons to get to your desired function. - Lastly, the metal tray is badly packaged with very sticky tape that leaves hard-to-remove residue. You have to carefully scrub off the residue before using. Between the too-hot-to-touch exterior and annoying cooling fan, I do not recommend purchasing this.

Not quite what I was expecting…
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Air fryers and multi-function Air Fryer Ovens are great to have in the kitchen. We have enjoyed using them over the last 4 years, having a standalone air fryer that we use all the time for quick lunches and an air fryer oven that we also use quite a bit for making sides and other items for or evening meals (instead of using more electricity with the full-size oven). While our current air fryer oven still works great, it had a few minor shortcomings. With a few of those addressed with the Bella Pro Series - 6-Slice Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Rotisserie (along with some extra features), we decided to give it a try. The Bella Pro Series - 6-Slice Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Rotisserie has a fairly basic design. It has a brushed-stainless steel casing, and black control panel on the right. There are eight touch buttons on the control panel: two for temperature, two for time, two for selecting the mode, then Start/Pause and Power. The door is mostly glass with no metal edges on the side, with a plastic/metal handle. It comes with a rack, a roasting tray, a slide-in air fryer basket tray, crumb tray and the spit rod and brackets for the rotisserie. When it comes to cooking, it does a fairly good job. It has four heating element bars, two at the bottom (front and back) and two on top (front and back). There is a preheat mode that always runs at the beginning of each session, then it beeps a few times to let you know it is complete and the timer starts. Some of the items we've cooked have pretty much been done before the preheat is done. One of the "addressed items" is the internal size. It Is about .75" wider that our other air fryer oven, which allows it to fit a frozen pizza much more comfortably. And it cooked it nice and evenly sitting on the rack. One of the other items is that this has a slide-in separate air fryer basket. The for the basked on the old one, it has to sit on the tray, which I felt restricts the airflow of the air fryer mode somewhat. While doing the actual air frying, I think it ends up not doing quite as well of a job. I noticed that it doesn't have the same separate heating coil with a circulating fan that the old one does and with the smaller fan on the side, I can't really see much air movement (this is based on the foil we normally put on a tray underneath that wasn't moving at all with this one as where we have to definitely fold the foil edges over the edge of the tray to keep it in place). The seemingly reduced airflow shows as the items we've tried using the air fryer mode haven't cook as evenly as desired (for example, edges of the steak fries seem to already get too browned before the rest is really cooked enough). Also, be aware that in the Specifications on the Best Buy page mentions "Cool-Touch Exterior: No" - believe that. You could probably cook a second meal on top. What I really wanted to try, and another reason I wanted this model, was the rotisserie. I've been cooking rotisserie chicken on the grill but can only do one at a time (so can't really make a full meal with our 16- and 18-year-old boys). I was wanting to be able to have two cooking at the same time. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it yet. First because it mentions it can cook up to a 4 lb. chicken (which I haven't been able to find one yet small enough), but mainly because I'm a little afraid to. The spit rod seems like it won't be constantly engaged with the rotisserie motor. As long as it is pushed all the way to the right, it would be fine, but if it were to slide to the left while cooking by even a few millimeters, it would stop turning. I just wouldn't want to have to keep checking every few minutes for over an hour to make sure it is turning properly. I don't know if it an issue with the design or just my unit, but either way, I am a little disappointed with that. And, as seems to be the common theme with all the reviews, is the fact that once it is finished cooking, it goes into a(n infinite) cool down mode that will only stop when it is unplugged. So, this oven needs to be located where it is easy to get to the plug. While this oven had me hopeful, I am unfortunately just not a fan of it. I'm glad we don't have young children with the safety issue of the exterior running so hot (but we still need to be careful ourselves). Will it still be used, probably yes, and probably not very often (but still will be better than having to use the full-size oven when cooking more than one item at a time), but it will not be our "go to" oven.

Nice air fryer with a large capacity.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a smaller air fryer but was looking for something that could handle a bit larger items. This has done the trick! I am able to cook two small pizzas at the same time and can cook larger items with the bigger capacity in both height and number of trays. The controls are easy to use and very straightforward. Just choose the type of cooking, the time you want and then push the button to start. It cooks well and is fairly quiet. When the time is up, it will prompt you to remove the food and then go into a cool-down cycle. This cycle took a little longer than I expected with the experience of the other air fryer I use at home, so I thought something was wrong the first time I used it! I am trying all sorts of things to cook in it and have been impressed so far. It is similar to a convection oven I had years ago but cooks much quicker (because of the higher air velocity, probably) and food cooked in the air fryer is so much better than in a microwave as far as taste and texture goes. I can't wait to try the rotisserie function, as I love fresh roasted chicken and other items. The display is large and seems bright to me, and the buttons are easy to use and pretty intuitive since I have used other air fryers. I look forward to using this for all sorts of lunch meals at work.

Middle of the Road Air Fryer Toaster Oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an average air fryer/toaster oven. I was expecting better quality from the name Bella. The first thing i did not like is there is no interior light to check on things while it is cooking. With the air fryer I have used in the past I did not have to preheat and it cooked everything perfect in record time. This one fell short. I think there is a lack of insulation. The whole appliance was super hot and just radiated heat. I did not like that. It is beautiful to look at. It is too big that I would not want to keep it on the counter but not too heavy to have to lift on a regular basis to use when needed.

So cool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best part of this toaster is two things for me personally. 1) It’s very roomy. 2) The rotisserie! I love that there’s so many different racks and you can cook different things at the same time. This is the biggest toaster I’ve ever owned and it’s such a luxury. This is definitely a product I’d recommend and buy again!

This one needs a little more work
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit is certainly priced right. I have other toaster oven / air friers that go for over 3 times as much money. That being said the price certainly is in line with the quality of the unit. It is very light weight and as such I am concerned how long it will last. None the less, it is compact has a nice look and is easy to operate. The different functions, temperature, and time settings are all accessed with arrow touch controls and not by touching where it actually says "air fry," "roast," etc. Not a big deal but if there are touch controls for the arrows why not have the functions activate by direct touch instead of the need to cycle though all the functions? More on the compact size. I was specifically interested because of the rotisserie function. It does work but when they say "up to a 4 pound chicken," they mean it. Now as a two person family even we typically like a 5 pound bird just to make it worth the effort of trussing, seasoning, and diginin in. I tried to squeeze in one that was just over 4 pounds and it hit the heating elements. So if this is ok with you then it may not be an issue. They do provide a tool to lift the spit in and out and it works but would be much better if the handle were about 3 inches longer to give better leverage. I think that the most obvious issue with this unit is the cooling fan stays running indefinitely. The manual says that you should unplug it after use and this does shut off the fan but is a little inconvenient and not something I want to deal with. I suppose if you are taking it out of storage for every use this may be ok but I need mornings to be simple and when it is time for toast or english muffins I want it to just work and not be fiddling around with finding the cord and outlet. All in all, if you need a compact unit that you will unplug after every use. this will work fine for you. ;

Whats up with the fan?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the toaster over overall but, why wont the fan shut off? All the reviews address this problem with this oven and NO recall? Having to unplug after every use is a pain. Even if the manual says to. They all say that and ive never had to do it. If the fan stays running when its off what else will?

A fire hazard recall in waiting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product and used it for the first time after the BB return period was over. Thus forced me to deal with Bella. On using it for the first time it took 20 minutes to pre-heat, Then incinerated 15-minute to cook popcorn shrip in two minutes. After turning off the panel power button the fan continue to run. 20 minutes later I pulled the plug, Bella asked me to try again and send them a video of it billowing smoke. Instead I packed it away anticipating its future use as evidence when it burns down a lawyer's house.

Poor Instructions And Build Quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to admit this is perhaps the poorest implementation of an air fryer over I've had the opportunity to use, and I've used several. It starts right out of the box. The included instructions are totally inadequate. That's where it starts, it gets worse though. I thought maybe I would find fuller instructions online. Nope. One thing the instructions say to do before cooking with the oven is to run it at 400F for twenty minutes. Ok, fair enough. That's when the second issue cropped up. After 20 minutes the oven enters a cool down phase. One that only ends when you unplug the oven. At first I thought first use kind of issue. Nope, every time you use the oven you will need to unplug it to get it to shut off. Next up, the size. You look at the product image here and on the box you see a full chicken. I bought a 4lbs bird but ended up having to cut off the wings to make it fit. Not cool. As far as build quality goes it feels rather cheap and flimsy. Certainly not worth the amount of money they are asking or. My advice is rather simple. Avoid this oven.
