Bella airfryer a bit smelly

It still has a bit of a plastic smell after 20 uses when running. The manual mentions it and says its nothing to worry about. For me, Its not desirable to have food cooking in a plastic smelling environment. I almost returned it, but smell is reduced with each new use. mutlitple washings had no effect.

She has even used the air fryer to make home made apple fritters. And it's really easy to use.
