This is, without a doubt, the worst product I've ever been asked to review for Best Buy... I understand that there may be a market for a less expensive espresso machine, but far too many corners were cut on this machine. I followed all of the instructions on the set-up, I thoroughly cleaned the machine before using it, and still every cup of coffee comes out tasting like burned/melted plastic. The instructions say to run a full tank of water through the machine before brewing for the first time. What it doesn't say is that this is required every time you want to brew the espresso. I did manage to get one cup that didn't completely taste like plastic (though it still had a hint of plastic) after going through this set-up for the first time. When I turned on the machine the following day, absolutely everything tasted like plastic. I went through the full set-up again and managed to get one cup that had a minimal, tolerable level of plastic taste. If you want to spend about 30 minutes running water through a machine to get a bad-tasting single cup of coffee, give this a try. Utterly terrible device and I'm somewhat resentful of Best Buy that I'll have to pay tax on receiving this item.

Just got this espresso maker and started using it 2 weeks ago. It makes decent coffee.

Works great. The filter twists to stay in the portafilter cup during knocking. It does hot water in addition to just steam, though flow could be faster. It’d also be nice if the portafilter was a standard size (51 or 53 mm, instead of 52)

Can you people please stop calling it an eXpresso maker. Its espresso as its getting pressed not as in its a fast coffee maker.

We bought this machine 4 times . Only one machine works . My husband bought two , one for home and one for his office . The one for home works fine . The other one doesn’t brew . So we bought another one , the one we got leak water from the bottom of the machine . It is so frustrating that we have to exchange so many times. At this point , we just throw the broken machine away, and purchase some other brand . Waste of time and money . Do not buy this brand if you don what to play gamble game .

Not a good taste at all. We've ran water through the machine 6 times, twice with vinegar, and probably 7-8 cups of coffee, and still have a very strange, bad taste, almost like a plastic-y or the metal taste from canned pineapples is the only way to describe it. We used the same coffee in our coffee pot, so it's not the coffee (we tried with 3 different coffees). We'll be taking this back and going with a different brand.

Low quality..It worked for only one week, then it broke down.

Tried it. Works great. Looks pretty. Taste terrible. Bought new beans- taste Terrible. Went on line - review that isn’t generated for profit- he said “the coffee taste like burnt plastic”. Yes that’s the taste.

Great product for the money. Would highly recommend.

HAD TROUBLE GETTING MOST ANY CUP TO FIT UNDER THE NOZZLE. IT FUNCTIONED BUT WAS NOT BETTER THAN MY COFFEE MAKER..
