The packaging for the blender is pretty good and kept the blender very safe during transportation. The blender itself is actually really well made. I really like its functions and how well built the actual blender itself is. The base is made out of plastic which does reduce the quality feel just a bit but it does not make it a lesser product but it does take a star off. The smoothies I created with this blender is smooth. The blades are well crafted and sharp. There are a few settings that you can use for it such as high speed and low speed or you can do an intermittent blend too. The design of the blender is good with its black color and it fits in nicely with the rest of my appliances and other utensils. Size wise, it's about as large as other blenders I've used before. Storage seems reasonable. You can also use it to cut up vegetables and possibly other ingredients for cooking. Overall, this is a very solid built blender and it does the work pretty well and a bargain for the price of it.

The Bella Pro Series is a simple to use and powerful blender. While it is for consumer use, Bella was serious when they named this blender pro. The Base: The construction and feel of the base are very well made. It looks like it should be in a smoothie or coffee shop. This blending beast is powered by a 3.5 HP. That is surely enough power to blend even the thickest of substances. The base has 4 thick rubber feet to prevent vibration on the surface it is on. There is also a rubber removable insert between the base and the containers this helps soften the vibration and also allows for easy clean up if you encounter a spill. Two simple switches for operation in front of the base and a power switch on the side. The left switch is for constant operation with off, low and high settings. This switch will constantly power the blender until you switch it off. The right button is for pulse and requires the user to constantly press the switch up to apply continued operation. The red power button is on the right side panel wrapped in a clear plastic casing to prevent water from entering the base. There is simple double digit screen in the middle which tells the user how many seconds the blender is running (up to 99 sec). The Container: The 64 oz container is great and perfectly sized for your blending needs. It comes with a stainless steel blade, rubber/plastic lid, and the top of the lid has a removable cup with measuring lines. I love the container as it is so easy to clean and so is the lid. There’s even a line on the container marking how much water to fill for cleaning and if you read the directions it recommends only one drop of dish soap and turning it on. You can also just simply throw everything in the dishwasher except the base of course. Important note: The Bella Pro blender is super powerful and after placing the lid on the container and running it for the first time my milk shake almost exploded everywhere as the suction on the lid and motor is so strong air had no where to go but up. Simple fix, after installing the lid I twist the small plastic cup on the lid open (without removing the cup or my hand ), start the blender allowing air to slip out and then twist the cup shut. Sounds like a lot but its really not and its worth it for the blending and vortex power. There are really no safety options on this blender. You can remove the container and flip the switch and the motor will run. However, I don’t mind this as it makes things easy to use. Plus, if you do accidentally turn on the motor while the container is off you really can’t hurt anything as it turns in the middle but there is nothing to get hurt on.

I currently have a Ninja blender with too many knobs and controls. My biggest issue is that when I start up the smoothie cycle, it does some kind of on and off cycle six times before it starts actually blending. I prefer blending my smoothies in “sections” by adding ingredients one at a time between short cycles, but the Ninja’s whole startup process makes it impossible. So I wanted something that doesn’t think it’s smarter than I am and just blends when I tell it to blend. Right away, pulling the Bella out of the box, all components feel as sturdy and substantial as my Ninja. Both feel like they have durable motors due to the weight. If I had to compare, I’d say my Ninja has a hair more power but trying them side by side, it might be my imagination. They seem to blend the final product effectively the same, but my Ninja seems more “violent” if that makes sense. For usability, I prefer the Bella because I prefer the granular and manual control over my blending. If you want something that has programs and software holding your hand, get something else. If you want to pulverize your food, get this. It’s strong.

Always wanted an industrial blender and as a first timer, this one is awesome. The controls are simple and intuitive. The power is incredible. It has never even felt like it struggled to crush frozen fruit, ice or other. I am very happy with the purchase.

A BEAST OF A BLENDER. This thing is so powerful. I love it. I use it mainly for protein shakes, but my roommate made a homemade soup the other night and used this to blend ingredients. I didn't even know how to make soup... unreal. The Bella line is truly the best.

This is a powerhouse. The build quality is average. The Bella website is hokey and it is impossible to register the warranty. I hope it lasts as I envision a nightmare trying to get them to honor it.

We bought two fo them to make smoothies for our family, and after only 3 or so uses each they died. One sounds like its trying to take off my counter imitating a b52 comber. The other is grinding more gears then a teenager in their first stick shift car. Would recommend a different brand for sure.

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS BLENDER. IT HAS A TOXIC SMELL EVERYTIME I BLEND. I THOUGHT WITH TIME, IT WOULD BURN OUT THE SMELL, BUT SO FAR IT HASN'T. I AM THINKING OF RETURNING IT.
