You can spend hundreds of dollars on other coffee makers which won't give you as great a cup of coffee as the Bella does. It has a strength setting that allows the coffee to be saturated before dispensed into the coffee pot. It isn't a full saturation, but does slow the brew process down, giving your coffee a fuller, bolder taste without the bitterness. The only negative to the Bella is the brew temperature. I tried testing the temp out of the shower head and it was only able to reach the 180's. The ideal temp is 195-200.

Limited to 2 weeks so I cannot speak to durability. However, so far so good. Love the 14c carafe. Brews a good strong pot of coffee per timer every morning.
