Do not obstruct base. My mother placed aluminum foil for ease of cleaning and burner plate overheated making it unusable.

Not good for the price. You’d expect it to have a removable water cartridge but nope. You have to bring a large jug of water to fill it up to the 18 cups. The machine also does not have a power on button so to speak. Ex: I start brewing my pot when I wake up. It’ll stay on for the allotted 4 hour run time (either 2/4 hr) but after that it will not let you turn the pot back on to stay hot. So by the time I’ve had my first cup went to the gym got my kids ready for school and dropped them off and came back to have more coffee the 4 hrs has run up. So I’m stick microwaving every cup after that because you can not simply turn the pot back on to stay heated, CRAZY! You’ll have to make a fresh batch. So I was trying to make smaller batches but that’s seriously a pain to have to make multiple batches each morning. So I ended up just getting a $20 maker that hd an on/off switch. This one is not worth the price. Even the sale price.

Nice Coffee Pot, except it will not turn back on after the brew time has alapsed, which is annoying....

I was looking for just a regular coffee maker. I found one. The café is robust. The handle larger and comfortable. Set up is a synch. Load the Bella and push a button and the coffee starts quick. Con: The coffee filter holder has the same issues with any other; bump the spring button on the bottom of the housing and it comes off and now the coffee will flows on threw. It seems that as the coffee is brewing the coffee grounds float up making it a bit difficult to clean. On a whole I give this coffee maker thumbs up and I would recommend it to anyone

Makes good cofee. Problem is its dripping water when you fill it. And also you cannot warm the cofee again.

Love more cups per pot! Sort of heavy for pouring when full. Better than having to start a new pot when you always need more coffee than traditional 12 cups!

Really nice coffee maker. The 18 cup capacity is handy for someone who enjoys coffee throughout the day. I found the instructions a little confusing but I was able to figure everything out. If I can do it, anyone can.

I enjoy this coffee maker. The large 18cup is just what my husband needed. Now he doesn't have to remake coffee for me before he leaves for work. It is easy to fill with the water tank on the side and not in the back.

Great Coffee Maker for a Lot of People

This is an awesome coffee maker if you're A) Caffeine Addict B) In A Group Setting. I will be using this most often when I have family and friends over. This maker would be great also in a small office setting. Eighteen cups is a lot of coffee! It will beep when the brew is done and has a "Keep Warm" timer built in before it turns off automatically. Not a big deal, but it should be mentioned that you don't want to use this for making less than four cups of coffee. This was definitely designed for more than one or two people. It fit fine on our typical, average counter although we have to slide it out from under the cabinet to refill the water/coffee. It does brew quickly. It took us about 11 minutes to make 18 cups of coffee. That's such a perk when you're trying to mete out hot drinks with desserts to guests in a timely fashion. And yes, you can pour a cup while brewing. It has a stopper that engages when you remove the carafe during a brew. Just don't wait too long to put the carafe back! It's still brewing and that coffee will back up! I like the handle on this carafe, it's giant and it makes me feel secure walking around with a full pot of coffee. The spout on the carafe is wide and there is a restraining lip inside (I guess if you added ice to the pot to make Iced Coffee or Iced Tea, this would be great to prevent ice cubes plopping out while you pour, otherwise I don't know why this is needed on a coffee pot). The reusable coffee filter is okay. It's an oval shape so if you decide to use the paper filters, you may want the cone shape ones instead of the typical round ones. Honestly, if you have a stack of the round ones to use up, you can probably make it work. I wish toilet paper was as endless as this stack of filters I bought like three years ago. The silky mesh on this filter is very fine and it is white. Well, it was white. After one use, obviously, the coffee grounds stained the filter. Both the carafe and the filter pieces are dishwasher safe. The water dispenser is NOT removable, it is permanently attached to the maker. The instruction booklet guides you on how to clean the parts that can't go in the dishwasher. Basically you brew a vinegar-water solution, pretty standard cleaning for most coffeemakers (and works quite well I might add). Whether it was brewing five cups of coffee or the whole pot, it was pretty quiet. A couple things to mention. The plug cord is not very long. You will need to position it near an outlet. Keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out where to put it. It wasn't hard to program a time to brew, change the strength, or set the time. Just press the buttons to cycle through what you want. There is a spot on the back of the coffee maker that holds an included measuring spoon. I don't know why it was put in the back of the machine and not on the side or front or why it needed to be integrated into the unit. I'm not going to pull out the unit to reach back there and pull out the spoon every time. I'll just keep the spoon inside the coffee bag. It's not a deal breaker, just unusual. Overall, this is a great coffee maker that we will use a ton when we have gatherings.

Excellent coffee maker! Very quiet and brews quickly. The only negative I have is that when the warmer goes off, there is no option to turn it back on (like my previous coffee maker had).

DO NOT BUY. I bought this on October 5, 2022. A hole formed by the warming plate in the carafe, and the warranty does not cover it. It says 2 year parts and labor warranty, which is a lie. The manufacturer just told me parts warranty is 3 months. After five months of use, it is totally unusable, and when I purchased it cost $120. Way to go, BestBuy.

Love my Bella Pro Series 18-cup Coffee Maker. It brews quickly and keeps coffee hot. My only con is that you cannot remove the lid from the pot to allow it to go into the dishwasher.
