Just wanted to write because although this is a good air fryer, it was never posted on there that this was an open box/used. I asked best buy and they offered a 10 percent discount which is 3$ off my order. Do better best buy

I have to say I really like the compact form of this Bella Pro Series 2 QT air fryer. It's small enough to store away easily in a cabinet or pantry area and not take up too much space. The analog control features of this air fryer are super easy to use and great for anyone who can operate a turn knob. Turn knob to set desired temperature, turn knob to set desired timer, and pull out tray to distribute food. Easy and effective. I feel the size of this 2 QT air fryer may be best suited to smaller food portions or smaller meals meant for 1 or 2 people. This really isn't a large unit which can accommodate a lot of food. We have been making some meals in our home with this air fryer, so I'll give you a few examples. Small batch of frozen french fries, frozen mozzarella sticks, sautéed Brussel sprouts, thawed out chicken breast (1 breast), and thawed out salmon filet. You'll have to be sparing on how much food you put into the basket because you'll want to ensure that the air flow can circulate around your food properly to cook it and crisp it. Overall I think that an air fryer of this size would be ideal for a dorm setting or single person lifestyle. The food portions you can cook in here are small, but it's great for having a smaller size appliance to store away and not take up valuable cupboard space. The food has been turning out very well cooked and crispy, so I'm pretty happy with this. This is not a sophisticated machine but I am not a sophisticated cook! I love it. I cool zucchini in it and it is so delicious that I don’t often cook French fries. When I do of course they are great as is Mahi-mahi and asparagus. I recommend this this inexpensive addition to my household and believe that you will too.

The fryer works great. Easy to use and food comes out tasty. The only negative thing I see itemperature I markings are coming off. I haven't washed the exterior so it is just from touching it. I soon won't know what the temperature settings are.

The Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer is disguised as compact air fryer. However, after using it for three weeks I discovered this versatile air fryer is an efficient counter top appliance, which enables healthier cooking for Grandma and me. I can Air Fry, Broil, Bake, Roast, and Reheat with little or no oil. And, the best part is that healthier air fried foods are just as tasty and delicious as if they were deep-fat fried. How cool is that? This Bella Pro Series air Fryer is a cut above the rest of the Bella Houseware Kitchen products and is designed for higher performance. It is made of mostly plastic with a non-stick coated steel frying basket and crisping tray. The frying basket has a 'cool-touch' handle, and the body of the whole unit is finished in finger print resistant, matte black. It blends in with all of my Kitchen appliances and the bottom of this unit has four rubberized non-skid feet to keep it stable. It is lightweight enough to be portable and I often move it about on different places as needed. My counter tops are heat resistant. The manufacturer suggests placing this air fryer on heat-resistant work spaces in order to avoid counter top damage. This unit pulls in air to circulate over the 1200 watt heating element in a circular vent at the top of the unit. Heat is exhausted out of the back of this unit so the manufacturer suggest to keep a four inch clearance from walls or other objects during operation. When removing the frying basket it is important to place it on a heat-resistant surface, or trivet because it will be hot. Advantages of this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. However, the time and temperature can easily be changed manually at any time during the cooking process. By using the marked Up & Down Time and Temperature arrows both Time & Temperature can be decreased, and, or Increased. This is important when cooking foods, then pausing to shake, and or, turn the food items half way through the cooking process. I can easily tell when I need to add or increase the temperature or time. * Safety features include the pausing of the preset cooking choices when the frying basket is pulled out of the air fryer. The cooking process will resume immediately when the fryer basket is installed back into the main body. The unit will Not cook if the fryer basket is NOT installed. The unit can be turned OFF by pressing the Power Button for two seconds. After 60 minutes this unit will automatically turn OFF and sound an audible tone. * Care and Maintenance is NOT complicated. The frying basket and crisping tray are easily cleaned in my Kitchen sink with soapy water, and. by hand as I prefer. They can also be put in the Dishwasher, but I think they last longer if cleaned by hand. The main body of this Bella air fryer can easily be cleaned with a damp dish cloth. * Be aware there is a learning curve to the process of air frying. Pausing the cooking process half way through the presets is very important. I can easily determine if I need to continue with the same preset Times and Temperature, or, if either one needs to be changed. The Bella Touchscreen makes this a simple adjustment. * Tips – Placing a piece of aluminum foil under the crisping tray makes clean-up much easier, especially when air frying, roasting,or broiling fatty meats. Make sure the 'shiny' side is facing up. It reflects heat much better under the crisping tray. Try re-heating foods in this Bella instead of your microwave. This Bella reheats foods more evenly and thoroughly. Love It! * This Bella Air Fryer is quite an energy saver compared to my conventional six cubic foot oven. The Bella only uses 1.2 KW, while my conventional oven uses upwards to 4 KW and takes much longer to preheat and cook. The Bella is fantastic in comparison. I highly recommend this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer. Me and Grandma are amazed how quickly this unit prepares our foods in less time then it takes to preheat my conventional oven. We were very skeptical at first because healthier foods aren't supposed to taste this good, or are they? Buy a Bella Air Fryer and find our for yourself . This unit is ideal for a couple, or family of four with two small children. This Bella is inexpensive, and may actually pay for itself over time compared to using your conventional oven. Makes a great wedding, housewarming, or just a special gift to that particular person or family member on your list.

I am very happy with this compact analog Air Fryer. I uses in my back yard to cook salmon,no odors,Great! I could reheat French fries too.

I was really disappointed when the temperature markings began to wipe away. Now when I touch them they smudge out of existence. The unit is functional enough and doesn’t take up a ton of room on the counter. Keep in mind it doesn’t have a ton of extra room: for reference I can just squeeze in a frozen personal pizza.

For 17 bucks it was worth it. Not even a full month in the timer stopped working. It’s warranties for 2 years, so I’m going through the company to get a replacement.

Got this as a gift for my mother n law & she loved it!

The only problem I've had with this product was 2 of the rubber grommets broke on the drip pan

It cooks however the first time I used it a little Pam spray oil got on the numbers. I went to clean it with warm water and the numbers wiped off. I kinda just guess with it now.

Ok but the rubber pieces on the edges of the crisp/drip tray disintegrate after a couple uses ALTHOUGH I tried reducing "the friction during insertion" between them and the lateral surfaces of the basket BY greasing both around the rubber pieces and the lateral surfaces of basket. Still, as of now, 2 out of 3 rubber pieces have been broken after a couple uses. Also for crispier results, food needs to be spread widely across the crisp tray but, the base area being small, this requires you to cook in several batches.

I'm not sure if it's used, as there are some scratches on the inside and outside, and the plastic film on the timer is also scratched, but the price is still good

Used less than five times (in a two week period,) and already the numbers on the temperature control have rubbed off. Cheap!

In my house, with 2 adults and 2 grown children, most might think that a smaller air fryer will not be that useful. I thought that too. But with 2 grown kids living at home, this is just the ticket for them in many situations. They are both working from home. Both are on different schedules. And both like to eat completely different things at different times. Using the toaster oven is lengthy and an electricity waster. Using the full size air fryer/oven, is a bigger waste of electricity for something small. I'm talking about heating up some small stuff they eat. Maybe some frozen burritos, or even re-heating some rice from the local asian food place they had for dinner last night. Perfect! (put it in a metal bowl onto the tray). Grilled cheese? Absolutely. A great choice for small things for sure. Some of the cool stuff about this, the floor of the air fryer, the part that holds the food, can be adjusted up or down. Cooking a burger? Move the tray up, so the grease has plenty of room to sit below the food. When done, just clear the grease into an empty plastic cup, wipe out the excess grease, and then put it right into the dishwasher. Cleans up easily this way. This heats up easily, isn't complicated with the manual dials, and the food comes out crispy and yummy. No worries about the touch pad getting broken, it is simple analog dials. Perfect for the kids to use.
