Cute little thing, perfect for a studio or for one person. The thing is, it breaks down after a couple of use. First two/three uses were good. After that, the coating inside the basket started peeling off. And then some malfunction, I was about to use it when the screen started flashing and then it won't start up. Like the basket sensor is broken or something. To top it off BestBuy employees in person told me I only had 15 days to return, while online agents kept telling me I had 30 days. It was cute but useless. Doesn't matter if it's on sale or not, not worth the frustration. Please buy something else.

Air fryer was a small lightweight machine, but powerful enough to do its job.

I’ve wanted one of these for a while just because of the benefits of cooking more healthy versus frying things in a pan with oil. This one is on the smaller side and is most suitable for making french fries and a small amount of wings which is what I made with it. Using an air fryer versus a pan takes a little more time but the clean up is much quicker and the benefits of healthier eating. I made french fries first and followed the directions on the package and cooked them for around 12 minutes. They were a little over cooked and burned a bit but were still more than edible. The next batch I cooked for about 8 minutes and they turned out perfectly. Next I cooked some wings and from start to finish took about 25 minutes. This is much longer than it normally takes in hot oil but they turned out pretty good. After cooking them in the air fryer, I baked them with the sauce and they were very tasty. I like that this came with a few recipes in the booklet and there are many more to be found online. The footprint of this fryer is pretty small and can easily be stored in my kitchen cabinet or pantry. All in all, I liked using this over pan frying and will probably get a larger model at some point. The benefit of the healthier cooking and basically just putting the food in and leaving it alone until it beeps works great. Especially when my kids can use it fir their lunches while they are home schooling. I definitely recommend this fryer.
