Why don't all toasters have a countdown-timer? :)

I love the timer it had- why don't all toasters have a countdown-timer? Now can get tings toasty down to the second. The lowest setting it will go is 40 seconds but that's easy to work around. Frozen waffles take exactly 2 minutes, toast is 1 minute 40 seconds and so on. So much fun to be exact with this toaster. Love it.
