I bought this at 39.99 (29.99 on sale) because I liked the digital part and that the spaces would hold a bagel well. It seemed a bit cheap out of the box, but so far it seems to do the job. After having this about 3 weeks and using maybe 2x a week if that much .. the letters on the buttons are rubbing off! It seems like the quality should have been better at that price point.

Looks nice. Works as expected. I like having the countdown feature to know how long before my toast is ready : )

As far as toasters go, you just can't go wrong with this one. It is a great toaster, hands down. For starters, it is really nice looking and will fit any modern kitchen decor perfectly. It seems like it is built really well, and not at all cheap feeling. Functionally speaking, there are only 3 buttons on the unit: Cancel, Bagel, and Frozen, and they are all pretty self explanatory. There is also a digital readout for a countdown timer, which actually ended up being much more useful than I expected. I never knew how much I needed a timer on a toaster until now. The Bagel and Frozen features work as expected, where the Bagel setting will toast only one side of the bagel, and Frozen is designed for frozen pastries and the like. There is even a handy little illustration to remind you how to orient your bagel in the slots. Performance wise, this toaster works exactly as expected. I tried many different items from plain old toast, to bagels, to pop tarts, and a few other items. All at different toast settings and every time I would get perfect results. Perfectly even toasting, to the desired level. And bagels would come out perfectly toasted on one side and warm and soft on the other. I don't have a single critique with this toaster. I would highly recommend it.

Good toaster with a learning curve. You have to figure out how long to cook till you have the right doneness.

A brand new purchase, yet the “Cancel” button does not work however hard or gently you touch. The other buttons are moderately responsive to touch. This creates the need to be precise in your time programming, which robs user of convenience.

Got a great deal on the item, if it lasts a year thats a win!
