    I set it up on 1 and it still to high that it burns the bread .

    This toaster did not work. It only toasted on one side on the highest setting. I think it was defective from the factory. When looking for a toaster this one was the highest rated. THANK YOU BEST BUY for taking the toaster back and refunding our money.
