It does toast but too well. Anything that is not very thick will burn on 2 or above. Works good for bagels and gluten free bread.

Even at setting of 1 , it burns my bread and i have manually eject it to prevent my whole kitchen burning. Horrible product..

Rye bread does not fit in this toaster. And if you put your level on any more than 1 1/2 you will have burnt toast. Toaster looks great though.

Nice looking and lightweight. Good cancel feature. No matter what you do one side gets way more browned that the other.

Didn’t work. The button you slide down to start the toasting would not stay down. Seems to be a cheaply made mechanism. Returned for a refund.

Broken knob, couldn't replace at store. Bought replacement at different store.

Bought toaster to match the coffee maker. Looks great. The disappoint was it went on sale. Bought for my wife. Now $10.00 cheaper. Just want the best deal with confidence. Sorry.

If the setting was set to "2" the toast was burnt. The "Bagel" setting toasted on both sides. Disappointing after reading great reviews.

This toaster is stylish, and it works well. However, so many times the bread doesn’t stay on which causes it to burn and we have to dig it out. Not worth the prices.

Just average. Tends to toast evenly, but the slots are not long enough. Also, there is no crumb try, which makes it hard to clean.

The toaster looks really good on my kitchen counter but when I toast bread or bagels it doesn't pop up, I have to do it manually.

The old ones are better but this one is alright you just have to really watch the slider on the bottom or you will burn the toast.

Purchased microwave May 2018. Worked until May 2020. Was disappointed it broker. Boneless, it served it's purpose and I'm pleased.

This is a tinny pease of junk. The eject does not work well. Toast gets stuck. I regret buying it.

This was a nice purchase initially, as it did a great job toasting. However, with very light use the slider that usually engages the toaster ceased "clicking" in place and rendered the toaster useless after six months. All adults in the house and was gently used. Also, unfortunately, it seems that this toaster isn't meant to be easily taken apart and fixed.

Looked nice coming out of box, however the lever would not consistently stay down. Also felt cheaply made. Also worth noting that the exterior of this toaster is not insulated, so when it would actually run, the exterior became fairly hot. Probably easy to find better value toasters at the same price point.

Average toaster. Good for price. Ended up purchasing a SMEG toaster to try get better and more even toasting.

Spring action after toasting does not work very well. I always need to help my toast or bagel pop up from toasting.

stopped working after 10 months. Landfill landfill landfill. What a waste

This product do not toast evenly but it's better than some other cheap ones that you can get for $20 or less.
